After studying nursing and working seven years in
the medical profession, I left to pursue my dream of
creating and operating my own full-service salon.
I enjoyed ten successful years as the owner of
Headlines Salon in Auburn Hills, Michigan before
deciding to further my education in the field of
hair replacement. The driving force leading me into
this specialized area of work was my dear
sister-in-law’s battle with leukemia and her need to
cope with hair loss during her chemotherapy
treatments.
During a real journey of discovery, I spent the last
12 years traveling extensively throughout the United
States, studying with leading educators, seeking the
most advanced and innovative hair replacement
procedures.
Each step along the way led me to realize that, in
addition to those who lost hair because of
chemotherapy, many people were suffering from hair
loss due to Androgenetic Alopecia (or hereditary
thinning), thyroid disorders, auto-immune diseases,
menopause, stress, nutritional deficiencies, etc.
The more I learned, the more I felt drawn to helping
those who faced hair loss and I decided to use my 28
years of expertise in the field of cosmetology and
hair replacement to create Advanced Hair Solutions,
a business that would always be there to serve the client
with top-notch service, personal attention and
tender care.
