National Alopecia Areata Foundation - Supports research to find a cure or acceptable treatment, supports those with the disease, and educates the public about Alopecia Areata.

Children's Alopecia Project (CAP) - Devoted to helping children living with incurable autoimmune hair loss disease.  Provides support and offers programs to grow confidence and help build a child's self-esteem.

Alopecia World - Social networking site for anyone living with alopecia.  Community also welcomes family, friends and other supporters.

Trichotillomania Learning Center (TLC) - National nonprofit devoted to ending the suffering caused by hair pulling and skin picking.

Silver Linings Program / Beaumont Hospitals- Gives women the tools and support to live a healthy, fulfilling life after cancer.  Together, the participants of Silver Linings work on the physical, spiritual and emotional impact of this disease and share in surviving cancer.

Sharing & Caring:  Breast Cancer Education & Support - Offering education and support to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.  The group is available to any breast cancer patient - at the time of diagnosis, during treatment and beyond.  Family members and friends are also welcome to attend.

Cancer Care Associates - Located in Royal Oak, Michigan, provides state-of-the-art quality cancer care to  patients, while creating a compassionate and caring environment to help lighten the burden of illness.

Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute - A unique, urban-based integrated center of research, patient care and education, dedicated to the prevention, early detection, treatment and eventual eradication of cancer. 

Gilda's Club of Metro Detroit - Free of charge and non-profit, Gilda's Club offers support and networking groups, seminars, workshops, specialized children's programs and social events in a nonresidential but home-like setting. Funding is solicited from private individuals, corporations and foundations.

Shades of Pink Foundation - Providing temporary financial assistance to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.  

SWAN for Life - A non-profit organization committed to providing support, educational workshops and wellness programs to the cancer community. 

Crittenton Hospital Medical Center- Located in Rochester, Michigan, Crittenton Hospital Medical Center is dedicated to enhancing the health status of the individuals and communities it serves in partnership with its physicians, employees and community members.

American Cancer Society - Founded in 1913, the American Cancer Society is a national organization with community involvement to  help Americans stay well and get well, to find cures for cancer, and to provide information and support to those fighting the disease.
